This Privacy Policy explains how EASY Dzen (“EASY”) (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Alina Kisteneva, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the EASY Dzen mobile application and related services.
By using EASY Dzen, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
EASY Dzen collects and processes the information described below to provide, operate, maintain, and secure the App and its related services.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- your email address;
- a unique user identifier associated with your account.
Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google.
Passwords are processed through Firebase Authentication. EASY Dzen does not store your password in its Cloud Firestore database or other persistent application storage controlled by EASY Dzen.
For certain security-sensitive actions, such as account deletion, EASY Dzen may ask you to re-enter your current password so that Firebase Authentication can re-authenticate your account. The password entered for this purpose is used only for the authentication request and is not stored by EASY Dzen in Cloud Firestore or other persistent application storage.
Firebase Authentication may also process technical information, including IP addresses and user-agent information, for authentication, security, and abuse-prevention purposes.
Goal and Progress Data
When you use goal routes and practices, we may store information such as:
- goals you select or create within the App;
- your currently active goal;
- route and day progress;
- completed and pending steps;
- practice progress and completion status;
- theory reading status;
- answers entered into practice fields;
- dates and timestamps associated with progress and completion.
This information is associated with your account so that your progress can be saved and displayed across App sessions.
Diary Content
If you use the diary feature, we store information you choose to enter, including:
- diary entry titles;
- diary entry text;
- creation dates and timestamps.
Diary entries are associated with your account.
Because diary entries contain free-form text, you control what information you choose to include in them.
Security and App Integrity Information
EASY Dzen uses Firebase App Check to help protect its backend resources from unauthorized clients and abuse.
On iOS, Firebase App Check uses Apple DeviceCheck to help verify that requests originate from legitimate instances of the App.
For this purpose, Firebase and Apple may process technical information required for app and device integrity verification, including DeviceCheck-related tokens, App Check tokens, attestation-related information, and related technical data.
Firebase SDKs used by EASY Dzen may also process technical SDK information, including device and operating-system information, the App’s bundle identifier, developer-platform information, and Firebase user-agent information, to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Firebase services.
This technical information is not used by EASY Dzen for advertising or behavioral profiling.
2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The current version of EASY Dzen does not intentionally request or collect health or fitness data as a dedicated category of information.
Users may voluntarily include information of their choosing, including potentially sensitive information, in diary entries or other free-text fields. Users should only provide information they are comfortable storing in the App.
EASY Dzen does not request access to the device’s location services and does not use device location for location-based functionality.
The current version of EASY Dzen does not intentionally collect through App features:
- payment or financial information;
- contacts;
- photos or videos;
- camera data;
- microphone or audio recordings;
- advertising identifiers.
EASY Dzen does not display third-party advertising and does not use user data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
The current version of the App does not use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics to collect user analytics or crash-reporting data.
If these practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy and applicable App Store privacy disclosures will be updated as required.
3. How We Use Information
We use information collected through EASY Dzen to:
- create and manage user accounts;
- authenticate users;
- provide goal routes, practices, theory materials, and diary functionality;
- save and synchronize user progress;
- display previously saved information to the user;
- maintain the security and integrity of the App and its backend services;
- prevent unauthorized access and abuse;
- process account and data deletion requests;
- maintain and operate the functionality of the App.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
We do not repurpose personal information for materially different purposes without appropriate notice or consent where required.
4. Firebase, Apple, and Service Providers
EASY Dzen uses services provided by Google Firebase, including:
- Firebase Authentication for account authentication;
- Cloud Firestore for storing account-related and user-created application data;
- Firebase App Check for protecting backend resources from unauthorized access and abuse.
In providing these services, Google Firebase may process information described in this Privacy Policy as applicable to the service being used, including account and authentication information, user identifiers, IP addresses and user-agent information, goal and progress data, practice answers, diary content, and technical App Check information.
Firebase App Check uses Apple DeviceCheck on iOS for app and device integrity verification. DeviceCheck-related technical information is transmitted or otherwise made available to Apple as necessary to perform this verification.
EASY Dzen does not send diary content, goal content, or practice answers to Apple through DeviceCheck.
Third-party service providers with whom EASY Dzen shares user data are required to provide the same or equivalent protection of user data as described in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law and applicable Apple requirements.
5. Data Storage and Security
User data used by EASY Dzen is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Access to user-specific Cloud Firestore data is restricted through authentication and database security rules.
Cloud Firestore is additionally protected using Firebase App Check enforcement so that requests without valid App Check verification are rejected.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and application data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain the user’s account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
User-created data such as goals, progress information, practice answers, and diary entries may remain associated with the account while the account remains active.
Where the App provides functionality to delete specific content, such as individual diary entries, that content may be deleted separately without deleting the account.
When a user deletes their account, EASY Dzen initiates deletion of the account and associated application data as described in Section 7.
Service providers may retain limited information temporarily after deletion where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup management, or their own technical processing and deletion procedures, in accordance with their applicable retention policies.
7. Account and Data Deletion
Users can delete their account directly within the App.
For security purposes, EASY Dzen may require the user to re-enter their current password before account deletion so that Firebase Authentication can re-authenticate the account.
Account deletion is designed to permanently remove the user’s EASY Dzen account and associated application data, including:
- account records;
- goals and route information;
- progress and task information;
- theory reading information;
- practice answers;
- diary entries.
The corresponding Firebase Authentication account is also deleted.
Account deletion is intended to be permanent and cannot be undone.
As described in Section 6, service providers may temporarily retain limited information in accordance with their own applicable retention, security, backup, or legal requirements after the deletion process is initiated.

8. Children’s Privacy
EASY Dzen is intended for users 13 years of age or older.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable laws, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:
- request access to information associated with your account;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- request information about how your data is processed.
You can delete your account and associated application data using the account deletion feature within EASY Dzen.

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
We will not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. International Data Processing
EASY Dzen uses services provided by Google Firebase and Apple.
As a result, information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries in which these service providers or their service infrastructure operate.
When information is transferred across jurisdictions, it is handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the applicable terms and safeguards of the relevant service providers.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our data practices, legal requirements, or services we use.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Material changes may also be communicated through the App or other appropriate means where required.
